How to operate Mouse and Keyboard on a Computer(Tips).

The mouse and keyboard are part of the two important things in a computer.When newly knowing how to operate a computer you will find the mouse comfortable to use in controlling the computer but after some little practice with the keyboard you will later find it easy to work with.How to make use of the mouse and keyboard?

1.MOUSE.

       It is an input device that is moved over a pad or other flat surface to produce a corresponding movement of a pointer on a graphical display.In other for you to operate a mouse you have to:
a.)Point:Pointing means you have to move the mouse on the pad or your desktop inother for the diagonal arrow to point to an object on the computer screen.
b.)Click or Select:After you have pointed to an object you then need to click or select by pressing the left button twice on the mouse then the application or window would be opened.
Note*If you want to highlight a particular word or sentence for you to copy,cut,save.etc, you would have to left click and drag the mouse over the word it would then be highlighted.Then inother for you to copy,cut or save press the right button of the mouse you will then see it.To right click in a windows brings certain options like cut,copy,paste,save,refresh.etc.
2.KEYBOARD.

          It is a set of keys used in operating a computer,typewriter.etc.The keyboard is different from a mouse,you have all the alphabets,numbers,symbols there you also have some special commands like Enter,All,Caps lock.etc.You can access every menu options whose name contains an underlined letter by pressing the letter on the keyboard.But to really access the menu names in the menu bar,you must press the Alt key alongside the letter.This are examples of shortcut on keyboard:
To open
a.Options Menu press Alt-O.
b.File Menu press Alt-F.
c.Windows Menu press Alt-W.
d.Help Menu press Alt-H.
e.Windows control menu press Alt-Spacebar(Application Window).
                         or
Press Alt-Hyphen(Document Window).
